East Lake County Library's 11th Annual Poetry Contest
In Honor of National Poetry Month in April the East Lake County Friends of the Library is sponsoring the 11th Annual Poetry Contest. Prizes will be awarded and the winners and ribbons will be awarded to all participants. The contest will be judged by the Palm Writer's Group.
Age Groups:
Children's Group: up to 12 years old
Teen Group: 13-18 years old
Adult Group: 19+ years old
Qualifying entries should be:
All contestants are invited to read their poems at the W.T. Bland Public Library's "Poetry Under the Oaks" on April 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Mount Dora.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners in each age group
1st place - $50 Gift certificate to Books-A-Million
2nd place - $25 Gift certificate to Books-A-Million
3rd place - $15 Gift certificate to Books-A-Million
Entries are no longer being accepted. Entries were accepted through May 4, 2013.
