Children's Activities:
Weekly Storytimes for children ages 3-5 years will be held on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. beginning on Monday, April 27th Children and their parents or caregivers are invited to attend.
Summer Reading Program for children who are entering kindergarten through fifth grade will begin on Monday, June 8th at 2:00 p.m. Children who read for six weeks this summer, are eligible to receive weekly incentive prizes. A calendar of events and reading logs will be distributed on the first day. The theme this year is "Be Creative @ Your Library."
Teen Activities:
Summer Reading Program for tweens (6th and 7th graders)and teens (8th - 12th graders) will begin on Monday, June 8th at 4 p.m. and will run also for six weeks. There will be 3 raffle prizes drawn at the end of the sixth week on July 17th.
Special note about the new library in Howey-in-the-Hills:
Marianne Beck Memorial Library holds pre-school storytime every Wednesday morning at 10:30. All pre-school children are invited to come to the library to be part of our storytime group.
