Fruitland Park is “Springing” your way

The Fruitland Park Library is “hopping” with events for the month of April.

• Smart Money Week has the Story time children learning how to count pennies and how to save them in their very own piggy bank. This event takes place on Wednesday, April 9th at 10:30 a.m.
• The 16th Annual Easter Egg Hunt takes place at the library on Wednesday, April 16th at 10:30 a.m. Don’t forget the basket. Registration is required for this event, 352-360-6561.
• On Wednesday, April 23 the Story time children will be planting a tree at 10:30 a.m. to commemorate Earth Day.
• Uncle Donald’s Farm will be at the library on April 30th at 10:30 a.m. Ms. Donna and her farm friends will surprise the Story time children.

Does an April shower bring May flowers? It does at the Fruitland Park Library!
• Various spring and flower themes during Story time this month. Please call the library for more information at 352-360-6561.

June brings summer fun with the Summer Reading Program’s “Fizz! Boom! Read!.  Registration for Summer Reading begins on Friday, June 6th.  Programs will take place on Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m. in the Fruitland Park Casino Building.
