Library Improvements

City of Tavares Public Library
Marli Lopez

As patrons step through the doors of the library, they will notice a brand new open and spacious feel to the entire building. The flooring project, begun a year ago with the replacement of the old worn carpet at the Reference and Circulation Desks, the public computer area and Reading Room, is complete.

Library staff wish to extend their gratitude for the support and patience of our patrons who endured several weeks of dust, noise and the overpowering scent of glue as the library remained open while the wood laminate flooring was installed in the remaining areas of the library. The Youth Room, offices, study rooms and the main room book stack area now match the rest of the floors. We hope you all enjoy the new look of YOUR community library!
