A Haunting Tale

American Horror Story: Murder House

American Horror Story: Murder House
It seems that the way we watch tv has changed. Instead of being glued to our television at certain time on a certain night of the week we are DVRing the show or binge-watch the show all at once. I admit I love binge-watching. I may wait a couple of years to watch a show that interested me, just to be able to watch them all at one time.
American Horror Story does something that no other show has done before. Each season is a closed story; the next season will be a new story. Some of the cast appears in all the seasons, or just one. The cast includes Jessica Lange, Taissa Farmiga, Connie Britton, Dylan McDermott, Evan Peters and Denis O'Hare. It doesn’t matter what season you watch first.
The promos for the third season, American Horror Story: Coven got my attention. I loved what I saw in that season, so I binge-watched the first season, American Horror Story: Murder House.  The story follows the Harmon family, a couple dealing with a miscarriage and infidelity along with their teenage daughter as they move cross-country. The house is old and beautiful, but its home to many things.
It may sound like a typical horror story, it’s not. It’s a smart, sexy, dark, funny and scary story that I hope you will enjoy as much as I have.

The first season is currently available in the Lake County Library System. Don't be scared check it out.
