Natalie Houston

Wednesday October 1 at 4:30 PM the Leesburg Public Library will be hosting an event called "Flicktion" for teens that enjoy writing and photography. Teens will use photos from the popular photo site Flickr as inspiration to tell a short story about the photo and the objects in it. The program will take place in the Library's Technology Lab on the 2nd floor.

On Monday, October 13 starting at 4:30 PM, the Leesburg Library will host our first virtual author visit via webcam with Young Adult Author, Allison van Diepen. Teens will have the chance to discuss her books Snitch and Street Pharm with her. Teens in the library Technology Lab will be able to see Allison on the screen and she will be able to see them and answer their question in real time.

On Monday, October 20 at 4:30 PM, the first Teen Writers Group meeting will be held, all teens ages 12 to 18 are invited to join to share their writing with others, receive feed back, and improve their writing. The Friends of the Leesburg Library is sponsoring this group which will meet once a month.
