Four Corners Amateur Radio Club

Interested in amateur radio? Cagan Crossings Library hosts the Four Corners Amateur Radio Club meeting and exams the first Saturday of every month. Everyone is welcomed to join! Prospective members can study for the exam to become a Volunteer Examiners by visiting www.qrz.com and taking the free Practice Amateur Radio Exam online. Once the person can score 85% or better, they may come in and take the real exam to become a radio operator. The exam takes place at 10 AM on their meeting days. Those with an amateur radio license may also with to apply for membership with ARES, the Amateur Radio Emergency Service, which provides communication support during public service events, localized disasters, and major disaster situations.
