We would like to thank everyone who participated in our September events. Plus, thank you to everyone who supported our Vendor Event. Please keep in mind that all of our programs are a community service, and there is no charge to attend these programs. Please R.S.V.P. for these events. Highlights for our October Calendar “Don’t Be Scared; Get Ready For The Holidays!”include Children’s Story-Times (Read for the Record, Fire Safety, Pirates!-Come dressed as a pirate!, Recycling for the Holidays, and the Not-So-Scary Library), After School Tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays, our weekly Book Sale and Used Textbook Sale, Quilting and Needlepoint, Game Days (BINGO, Scrabble, Backgammon, and Checkers), a seminar: “Navigating the Legal Pitfalls of Real Estate” presented by Attorney Jennifer Isaksen, a Pampered Chef Cooking Class, our monthly Chess Club and GO! Club, a Stella and Dot Jewelry Party, a Tupperware Party, an Art Class on “How To Draw Comic Characters” instructed by Wesley Stout-School of Fun Art, a Medicare Advantage Seminar delivered by Universal Health Care, be prepared for our monthly Book Club: “Train Dreams” By Denis Johnson, a Spanish Class, and Spanish Tutoring.

We will host our monthly “Get-Together Coffee Hour Social” on Thursday, October 25th at 10:30 A.M. Bring a treat to share! For December, we have planned a Christmas Program (Christian based) to go along with the “Light Up Montverde” Ceremony.
