Call for Entries for Lady Lake Local Authors' Day

The Lady Lake Public Library has issued a call for entries for a spring book fair which will feature authors from Lake, Marion and Sumter counties. Local Authors Day will share with the public the enormous talent in the community on Wednesday, April 18th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event is open to any author, published, self-published and independent publisher non-fiction, fiction, children’s books, teenage, how-to, audio/spoken word, comics, e-books and poetry. The Local Authors’ Day is limited to 30 authors and the deadline for entry is March 2, 2012. For the guidelines to enter, email LadyLakeLibrary@Yahoo.com or call 352-753-2957. Acceptance is on a first come, first served basis. The author will be notified immediately of entry status.

Featured authors to date include Steve Burgauer, Tom Bender, David Hirzel, Carolyn Merryman and Bea Swedien. Area authors are invited to enter this event which will provide exposure and the opportunity for authors to sell their books, meet the public and network with other writers.
