National Gaming Day

Looking for a place to hang out and have fun with your friends or family? Think you've got game? The City of Tavares Public Library and hundreds of libraries across the country will join the American Library Association (ALA) in celebrating the popularity and educational, recreational, and social value of video and board games for National Gaming Day @ Your Library on Saturday, November 12, 2011. The library will have a variety of card, board and video games set up in the Youth Room from 10 am to 4 pm. Come and be a part of the largest group of simutaneous game players in the United States. Help us to celebrate the popularity and educational value of video and board games and beat last year's record!
