Trash to Fashion Hits the Runway

Vaude Villians and GemeniTrash to Fashion will include live music, refreshments and unique fashions. Fashionista diva and teenage vampire, Gina Covello, star of the Vamped novels will emcee the show with her author Lucienne Diver. Lucienne is the author of the popular Vamped series of young adult novels (think Clueless meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer). School Library Journal calls the first book, “a lighthearted, action-packed, vampire romance story following in the vein of Julie Kenner’s “Good Ghouls” (Berkley), Marlene Perez’s “Dead” (Harcourt), and Rachel Caine’s “The Morganville Vampires” (Signet) series.” VOYA has suggested that the books “will attract even reluctant readers.”

Entertainment will be provided by Gina and Lisa Gomez. These recording artists and twin sisters are members of the band Gemeni. Combining strong vocals, tight harmonies, poetic lyrics and pop inspired melodies, the twins want to bring art to pop music and bring thought and depth to the masses. Also appearing will be Vaude Villains, a comedy troupe out of Clermont, Fl. These talented young actors have performed at numerous events including this year's International Fringe Festival.
