Second Annual Trash to Fashion Contest

The Lake County Library System will host the second annual Trash to Fashion Contest, a spectacular teen fashion extravaganza featuring eco-outfits from recycled or waste materials. Prizes will be awarded on Saturday, October 22nd at the Cooper Memorial Library.

The Trash to Fashion Contest will be open this year to students from grades 1-12 and adults to age 25. To participate, pick up an entry form at any Lake County Library System library or download the form from our website and drop it at the library. This program invites you to think outside the recycle bin and design a piece of wearable art, fashion, or an accessory based on the creative use of "trash" -- found, salvaged, scavenged, and repurposed materials.
