W. T. Bland Public Library Concerts and Special Events

Quilting Classes
$20.00 Charge for 8 classes which will run Saturday, January 8th through Saturday, February 26th from 10:15 a.m. –1:45 p.m.
Open to all levels of Quilting from Beginner to Advanced
Classes will take place at the Simpson Farmhouse Meeting Annex, next to the W.T. Bland Public Library. Additional parking available at the Library. Space is limited so pre-register today at the Circulation Desk or call 352.735.7180 opt. 5

Concerts @ The Library presents…
Cellist Evan Drachman, Founder and Artistic Director of the Piatigorsky Foundation, will be accompanied by Pianist Doris Stevenson.

“Write Your Life”
A Personalized Memoir for Future Generations
A 6-Week Course offered every Wednesday starting January 12th-February 16th from 1:30 –3:30 p.m. The instructor is Mary Ann Revell and the Cost is $25, payable at the time of registration. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and may be completed at the Circulation Desk. Classes will be held at the Simpson Farmhouse Meeting Room next to the W.T. Bland Public Library.

A preview of the concert “New York –The Big Apple " to be held on Thursday, January 20th 7:30 p.m. at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Used Book Sale sponsored by the Friends of the Library
Friday, February 4th; Saturday, February 5th & Sunday, February 6th from 9 a.m. –4 p.m.
Paperback Book Sale sponsored by the Friends of the Library
Saturday, March 26 from 9 a.m. –3 p.m.
Donations for the Friends of the Library are accepted year round.

Brown Bag Book Club
Held on the 3rd Tuesday of Each Month at noon. Bring your lunch & enjoy a congenial lunchtime with other book lovers in the Mount Dora Trust Community Room. The Library will offer coffee or tea and a simple dessert.
