Lisa Black Wows the Audience with Tales of Murder

Trails of Blood Book Talk

On September 27th at the W.T. Bland Public Library, best-selling author Lisa Black kept the audience engaged with stories of the “Torso Killer” murders. Murders past and present collide in Trail of Blood, the third riveting crime fiction to feature forensic scientist Theresa MacLean. Based on the real-life and still unsolved murders that terrified residents of Cleveland, Ohio more than seventy five years ago, Trail of Blood is a masterful forensic thriller.

Lisa, who is a latent fingerprint examiner in Florida and a former forensic scientist for the Cleveland Coroner's office spoke about the murders and the police force who tried to find the serial killer. She fended many questions from an enthusiastic audience. From court cases to fingerprint databases to the reality of CSI television, Lisa answered with a dramatic flair.

Great talk…if you get a chance to see Lisa, do not miss it! For more information on the author, visit
