Beekeeper James Benware, with 30 years' experience, will give a presentation on the history of bees and beekeeping as a hobby or money-making venture on Thursday, July 22nd, at 4:15 p.m. at the Marion Baysinger Library, located at 756 W. Broad St., Groveland. On display will be an observation hive where attendees will have an opportunity to observe the Queen Bee, Drones, and Worker Bees in action. In addition, honey combs will be available for viewing. Light refreshments will be provided. The program is free and open to all ages.
