Winter Fun at the Library

FOR CHILDREN
Reading to the Dogs Program begins on 1/14 at 4:00 p.m. and continues on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays through April. Children can practice reading out loud to friendly dogs from the Caring Canines Group.

Family Storytime continues on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. This program is geared to families with children ages 18 months to 3 years.


FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN

Cards and Letters for Soldiers Program: Beginning 1/20 children and adults will be able to make cards and write letters to soldiers serving overseas at the library. All are welcome to participate. Friends of the Library are initiating this program, and will pay for postage and supplies.


FOR ADULTS

Attention Snowbirds! Join us on 2/26 at 10:00 a.m. for a workshop which outlines strategies for "Closing Your Seasonal Home". Ms. Julie England from University of Central Florida will lead the workshop. Call the library to register.

Front Porch Book Club continues to meet on the third Friday of the month at 10:00 a.m.

Basic Computer lessons for Adults are available on Friday mornings by appointment.
