Fall into Fun Programs @ the Minneola Library

Mary Kay McGuire

Programs for Children: We will have some special family story times this fall for families with children ages 18 months to 4 years. Join us on 10/7 for a Stuffed Animal Pet Show, on 10/28 for a Halloween Parade (costumes are encouraged) and on 12/2 for a visit from St. Nicholas and his “reindogs!” All programs begin at 10:30 a.m. We will hold weekly story times every Wed morning that we are open from 10/7 through 12/16.

“Get That Job “ workshop returns on 10/23 with Ms. Iris Clas from Goodwill Industries. Ms. Clas will help you hone your interviewing skills for today’s competitive market. Please call the library to register because space is limited.

Holiday Jewelry Making Workshop for anyone aged 12 and up on 11/3 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. by Ms. Melanie Wall. There will be a charge for materials. Treat yourself to a fun afternoon of creativity. You will take home two unique, original bracelets that you design! Call the library for more details and to register.

Friends of the Library are excited to announce their Premier Book and Handmade Craft Sale on 11/7 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We are still looking for a few good “friends” to help us strategize and have fun while we raise money for the library’s programs. Regular meetings are the second Friday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Call the library for information regarding selling your handmade crafts.
