Minneola Library Happenings!

For Children and Teens:

Summer reading program for children ages 0-18 continues until 7/17. Weekly drawings will be held on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. through July 20. For details call the library.

Children participating in the Cooper Memorial Summer Reading Program can redeem their reading logs for prizes at the Minneola Library through 7/17. during any hours that the library is open.   

PRE-K storytime continues on Monday mornings. There will be a special "Mad Hatter" storytime on 8/10. Everyone is asked to wear their favorite hat, and snacks will be served. Please register for this event by calling the library at 352-432-3921.

For Adults:

The Front Porch Book Club continues to meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m.

The first meeting of the Minneola Friends of the Library will be held on 8/13 at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to help us plan our first booksale.

We end the summer season with TWO visits from Clermont artist, Mr. Harry Gray  on 9/17. Mr. Gray will paint two original oil paintings at the library, one at 10:00 a.m. and one at 6:30 p.m.He is fascinating to watch and he describes his technique as he paints. Mr. Gray will have some of his original art for sale. His artwork is on display at the South Lake Art League on Montrose St. in Clermont.
