Celebrate Black History Month at the Leesburg Public Library

The Leesburg Public Library’s celebration of Black History Month features a free programs that is sure to entertain and educate both children and adults:
“OrisiRisi African Folklore” will entertain both young and old with a celebration of African Heritage that includes music, storytelling, and dance on Saturday, February 15th at 10:00am.

Nigerian-born musician, dancer, and singer Ilenbilu Adetutu and her storyteller husband Don Harrell have captured the imagination of people the world over with their performances and education programs. OrisiRisi has received critical acclaim far and wide for their unique, African-rooted, educational and entertaining presentations. Don Harrell and Nigerian born wife Tutu, co-produce and direct the many facets of their act. With varied African art Orisirisi imparts different kinds of folk-knowledge and experiences to and for their audiences.
