Accessible by individual subscription , or through Ancestry Library Edition at a Lake County Library, these databases can help jump-start your research by searching a large number of records, and in many cases linking you to an image of the original record.

Professional genealogist Donna Moughty will demonstrate strategies used to search effectively for individuals and guide participants in understanding sources on this valuable genealogical mother lode at this year’s Genealogy After Hours event to be held at the Leesburg Public Library, 5:30 – 8:30 pm, Friday, November 1st.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Leesburg Public Library, 100 E. Main St., Leesburg, FL 34748, or ordered by mail by sending a check made out for $15 to the Friends of the Leesburg Library at the library’s address, attention Carol Anderson, and including a self-addressed stamped envelope.
