Living Golf Legend Charlie Sifford

Please join us in the W. T. Bland Public Library on Saturday, June 1st from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.  for a birthday celebration of a living golf legend, Charlie Sifford.  Toast and give well wishes to the first African American PGA Golfer who broke barriers in the great game!  Mr. Sifford was the first African American inductee into the World Golf Hall of Fame and is known as the Jackie Robinson of golf !

Hear empowering and inspirational words from Mr. Sifford via Skype.  This historical event is free and open to the public hosted by the Mount Dora Library Association and the African American Golf History Preservation Association.
