Money Smart Week in Mount Dora

The W. T. Bland Public Library will offer four programs to celebrate Money Smart Week @ Your Library with John Stewart of Edward Jones:

• Tuesday, April 23 @ 6:30pm – College: Getting There from Here
   o How to establish a college savings goal
   o Strategies to help you reach your goal
   o Features and benefits of 520 college savings plan
• Tuesday, April 23 @ 7:15pm – How to Raise a Money-smart Child – a great way for parents and grandparents to learn some tools and techniques for talking with their children and grandchildren about money
• Wednesday, April 24 @2:00pm – Navigating Your Next Adventure
   o Introduces a number of ideas to help build a reasonable and sustainable strategy for managing income and expenses during retirement
   o Explores how to plan upfront for concerns. like inflation, health care expenses and market volatility
• Wednesday, April 24 @ 6:30pm – Foundations of Investing
   o Covers the key features of bonds, stocks and mutual funds
   o Importance of proper asset allocation

There will be door prizes and light refreshments at each program. No pre-registration is necessary The Money Smart Week programs will be held at the W. T. Bland Public Library located at 1995 N.
