Edgar®-nominated Author Alison Gaylin @ Viva Libros!

Alison Gaylin, USA Today bestselling author of And She Was, the Edgar®-nominated thriller Hide Your Eyes as well as its sequel, You Kill Me, will be appearing at Viva Libros! the 2013 BookFest on Friday, March 15th in the Leesburg Public Library at 3 p.m. to speak about her new release from HarperCollins Publishers, Into The Dark. She will be appearing again that evening in the W.T. Bland Public Library at 6:30 p.m. for the Authors’ Reception and again on Saturday, March 16th at 2 p.m. to offer a workshop on “Mystery Writing”.

Ms. Gaylin’s critically acclaimed suspense novels have been published in such countries as the UK, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Norway and Japan. A graduate of Northwestern University and Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, Alison lives with her husband and daughter in upstate New York.

A breathtaking novel of suspense, Gaylin’s And She Was introduces a remarkable new protagonist: Brenna Spector, a Missing Persons Investigator afflicted with Hyperthymestic Syndrome, a rare disorder that enables her to remember every moment of every day of her life. Into the Dark unravels a web of obsession, sex, guilt, and murder that could regain her family . . . or cost her life. "Can a stranger share your memories?" That's the question that haunts Brenna Spector when she first sees footage of missing webcam performer Lula Belle. Naked but hidden in shadow, the "performance artist" shares her deepest, darkest secrets with her unseen male audience . . . secrets that, to Brenna, are chillingly familiar. Discover what Harlan Coben, Lisa Gardener, Laura Lippman, and other masters of suspense and crime fiction have already learned: Alison Gaylin is one of the best!

Alison Gaylin’s latest book Into the Dark brings Brenna Spector back, this time on the case of a performance artist, whereabouts unknown--a case that strikes dangerously close to home.
