Award-winning journalist Gary Corsair will appear in the Lady Lake Public Library on Friday, Sept. 7, at 11:30 a.m. Mr. Corsair is the author of Legal Lynching: The Sad Saga of the Groveland Four. He will conduct a press conference announcing that the infamous Groveland rape case has finally been solved, and that conclusive evidence has surfaced that exonerates Samuel Shepherd, Walter Irving and Charles Greenlee.
Mr. Corsair will be joined by Greenlee's brother Wade, Irving's sister Henrietta, and other family members whose lives were impacted by these events.
