Preserving Old Photos

Enjoy a unique, interactive photo preserving experience and learn how preserving personal photographs can enrich our entire community! Kodak, the Library of Congress, and the Leesburg Public Library are partnering to provide a great opportunity for you to bring up to 25 of your very own personal photos (up to 8x10 size, no albums) and have them scanned using professional, picture-saver-scanning equipment. Keep your original pictures and get a digital copy to save and share! This is also the perfect opportunity to donate copies of your photos of Leesburg history to the Images of America – Leesburg book now being compiled.

Come join us at the Leesburg Public Library, 100 E. Main Street, Leesburg, Florida, on Thursday, May 3rd at 10:00 am. This free program is an Outreach of the Library of Congress Digital Stewardship Alliance. Phone (352) 728-9790 or e-mail for further information.
