The Friday, February 24th deadline for entering the Lake County Library System 13th annual Bookmark Design Contest has been extended through the weekend. Entries will be accepted at any library location or if they are postmarked by Monday, February 27th.
The 13th annual Bookmark Design Contest offers Lake County K-12 students and adults the opportunity to be published and honored for their creative endeavors. The awards ceremony will take place on Friday evening, March 30th in the Lady Lake Public Library as part of the Festival of Reading. Prizes will include gift cards for 1st - 3rd place prize winners, and copies of their winning bookmark.
Entry forms and guidelines are available on the web site at www.mylakelibrary.org under “News and Events”, or picked up at any Lake County Library System library. Completed entry form with the original bookmark design may be delivered to any of the library locations. Entries may also be mailed to: Thom Mazak, Lady Lake Library, 225 W Guava St., Lady Lake, FL 32159 or electronic files (300 dpi or greater) may be submitted via e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org
