2012 Bookmark Design Contest

Friday, February 24th is the deadline for entering the 13th annual Bookmark Design Contest. This year’s theme is “In the Reading Garden”. The winning artists will be announced and honored on Friday evening, March 30th at the Authors’ Reception and Gala. The new Lady Lake Public Library will host this fantastic event which offers new and exciting activities for young and old. Prizes will include gift cards for 1st - 3rd place prize winners. The winning bookmark designs will also be available at all 15 libraries in the Lake County Library System, and will be printable from the library system’s web site.

The 13th annual Bookmark Design Contest is accepting entries from Lake County K-12 students and adults. Entry forms and guidelines are available on the web site at under “News and Events”, or picked up at any Lake County Library System library. Completed entry form with the original bookmark design may be delivered to any of the library locations. Lake County Library System libraries invite you to join us for the 2012 Festival of Reading March 26th – 31st In the Garden, with internationally best-selling and award winning authors including Charles Todd, Deborah Crombie, Robert Macomber, C.S. Challinor and Vivian Shipley.
