Starting Monday, August 24, 2020:

  • For students in grade 6-12
  • Face masks required.
  • Temperatures taken upon entrance.
  • Social distancing required.
  • Safe, monitored environment without distractions.
  • Two sessions available: 9am - 12pm, and 1pm - 4pm.
  • Study hall will be cleaned before and after each session.
  • Limited spots available. Call the library to sign up.
  • Bring your own devices (laptops).
  • Free online resources available.

Libraries have limited reopening and/or curbside service.

As of August 17, 2020, patrons must return checkouts by their due date to avoid fees. All previous fines and fees will remain. Please view our press release for more details.

The Umatilla Public Library will observe a limited reopening starting Monday, August 24, 2020.

OCCUPANCY: 3 patron capacity with a 30-minute daily max visit.

CURBSIDE PICKUP: Call the library or use the online catalog for help.

SERVICE: No browsing in the aisles. Staff will retrieve library items.

TEEN STUDY HALLS: Free, safe areas to do schoolwork. Sign up today.

COMPUTERS: Not available during this time.

MEETING ROOM: Closed until further notice. No programs or events.

LOITERING: No browsing, large gatherings, or extended visits.

GROUPS: Guardians and their children must stay together.

MASKS: Recommended for everyone while visiting the library.

CDC GUIDELINES: Follow their latest COVID-19 recommendations.
