Children's Programs

Read to Sydney
Children are invited to read to a friendly therapy dog. As many as five children may read to the dog at one time. This program is first come, first-served with no pre-registration. It's recommended for students who are able to read somewhat independently.
11 a.m. - noon   Schedule: Apr 19, Apr 26, May 10, May 24
Toddler Time
Now with two sessions, toddlers ages 15 months to 3 years and their caregivers are invited for this fun story time featuring songs, books and scarves.
10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.   Schedule: Apr 22
Books & Babies
Lapsit story time is for newborns to 15-month-olds with a caregiver. You and your baby will make new friends through books and music. A playgroup immediately follows.
11 - 11:20 a.m.   Schedule: Apr 22
Storytime & Craft
Join the library for reading, stories, songs and a crafts. Story time is open to all ages; however, children, ages 2 - 5 will enjoy it the most. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate. A craft follows story time.

Babies & Toddlers Play Group
Join other parents and caregivers for a simple play group at the library. Children should be under 35 months to participate. Parent or caregiver must attend with child.
