- Leesburg Public Library's Adult Summer Reading Program 2013
Legendary Locals of Lake County on Tuesday, June 18th at 2:00 pm Authors Doris Bloodsworth and Connie Fleetwood will present their new book, Legendary Locals of Lake County, including historical information about our own “Indiana Jones” Edgar Banks. Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing.
Mary Anna Evans on Tuesday, June 25th, 10:30 am and 2:00 pm Award-winning author Mary Anna Evans will share her guide to planning, writing, editing and publishing, Your Novel: Day by Day, in the morning. That afternoon she will discuss her archaeological mystery series featuring Faye Longchamps and her newest book, Plunder.
October Mountain Washtub Band on Saturday, July 6th at 2:00 pm Enjoy bluegrass, country, patriotic, gospel, and popular musical numbers performed by our favorite washtub band!
Mote-Morris House History and Dig on Tuesday, July 16th at 2:00 pm Learn about the history of this local landmark, and the archaeological dig that was done on the property after the house was moved to its present location. Featured speakers are local historian Glorianne Fahs and educator Karen West.

Enjoy bluegrass, country, patriotic, gospel, and popular musical numbers performed by our favorite washtub band! This event will be Saturday, July 6th at 2 pm at the Leesburg Public Library, 100 East Main Street, Leesburg. Made possible by the generous support of the Friends of the Leesburg Library.

- Musical Performance by Tom LaVenia
Guitarist Tom LaVenia will delight and entertain with a variety of tunes, including many popular favorites at the Leesburg Public Library, 100 East Main Street, Leesburg on Tuesday, July 23rd at 2 pm. Be sure to stop by the Big Red Bus before or after the performance to donate blood and be a part of Heroes Week at the Library! This program is made possible by the generous support of the Friends of the Leesburg Library.
