  • The Cagan Book Club meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m. in the Literacy Lab to discuss that month's selection. Previous titles include: "The Sins of the Father," "Reading Lolita in Tehran," "The Warmth of Other Suns" and "Songs of Willow Frost."

CareerSource Florida brings their mobile services to the community at Cagan Library every Wednesday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. They provide resume and job search help, mock interviews, veteran services, SNAP/Unemployment assistance, "Develop You" classes and more.

Cagan Crossings Chess Club
Players of all skill levels and all ages are encouraged to attend for competitive play on a weekly basis. Registration is required.

General Program Offerings

Adult Literacy Tutoring
The Cagan Crossings Community Library along with the Lake County Adult Literacy Program provides free ESoL tutoring in individual tutoring sessions and classroom sessions. Ask at the library for more infromation.

The Adult Literacy Program designed to provide literacy services to adults who speak English but may need help to improve their reading or writing skills as well as adults who need tutoring in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESoL).  The tutors and adult learners meet weekly at their local library or other community-based location and have access to student workbooks; adult literacy materials; a computer-based literacy lab; and other library resources.
